7. Mistakes to avoid

Try to achieve 100% explanation of phenomena by giving up as many degrees of freedom as possible. It's better to explain 95% of phenomena with 3 parameters and 7 degrees of freedom (i.e., from 10 equations) than to explain 100% of phenomena with 10 parameters but no degrees of freedom.
