1. Declare the subcontracting and have the terms of payment approved by the project owner

Market outsourcing involves three players:

• the client, who has placed an order for services or work; this order takes the form of a contract;

• the main contractor, who holds the contract awarded by the project owner;

• the subcontractor, who performs services or work on behalf of the main contractor.

The legislator has provided protective provisions for subcontractors (article 3 of the loi n° 75-1334 du 31 décembre 1975 modifiée on subcontracting,
