5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Do not fail to present the subcontractor for acceptance by the client

Article L. 8271-1-1 of the French Labor Code stipulates that "infringements of the first paragraph of Article 3 of Law no. 75-1334 of December 31, 1975 on subcontracting are recorded by the agents mentioned in Article L. 8271-1-2. These offences are punishable by a fine of €7,500. The agents in question may be those of the labor inspectorate or social security bodies, or officers and agents of the judicial police and tax and customs officials.
