7. Wavelength

A wave is a periodic physical phenomenon. The wavelength can then be defined as the shortest length separating two identical points on the wave at a given instant. The unit used is the nanometer (nm).

Frequency ( f ) is related to wavelength ( L ) by the following formula: L =1/ f
