6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Don't let imperatives multiply

The classic mistakes of Lean for construction are a radical implementation of site work methods, with the risk of rejection and rejection of the method. The reason why the approach is iterative is precisely to avoid this problem. Simply measuring time spent on different tasks and expectations can be misunderstood by workers, with the risk of the whole method being rejected. What's more, LPS can lead to over-secure schedules in which each participant wants to add a margin of comfort to avoid any risk of delay. In such cases, the use of company ratios and expert opinion are necessary to "reframe" an over-indulgent subcontractor.
