The product backlog is the heart of Scrum. It's a prioritized list of requirements and stories that the customer wants. The stories are arranged according to the order in which they are to be realized.
The backlog is a document that is constantly updated as long as the product lives, thanks to feedback: elements are added or removed, others are broken down or priorities adjusted.
