4.1 In 2000, DAPCOCOT

Matra and EADS develop a continuous welding machine for assembling carbon fiber and thermoplastic composites (instead of thermosets). The DRAPCOCOT (continuous thermoplastic draping and consolidation) is used to manufacture components for the aerospace industry.
