6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Don't think that hot nitrogen welding is a luxury

No, weld protection is not a luxury; it really does enable gains by :

  • simple design and guaranteed assembly success;

  • production, a saving in joint material and time (compared to hot plate welding);

  • in production, operators and set-up personnel can rest easy knowing that variations in the shape and dimensions of parts are absorbed;
