1. Define the project schedule

MS Project 2007 and MS Project 2010 use the same calendar management. The 2003 version only displayed work and rest days, and thus delimited working hours. Versions 2007 and 2010 integrate exceptional work periods.

You can enter the work schedule for your project, your resources and each of the people involved, to show the work plan for each person working on the project.

1.1 Project timetable

From the Gantt chart, open [Tools] and select [Edit work schedule]. It is important to build your own project schedule and adapt it to your needs by defining working days and hours, creating exceptional work periods and specifying rest days and days off (tabs [Exceptions] and [Details]).
