INTRODUCTION
As embedded software grows in size and complexity, it becomes necessary to structure its development. The proposed method consists in reducing the complexity of the system into sub-systems that are simpler to design.
Organizing the development of embedded software according to the principle of V-cycle decomposition enables us to arrive at a detailed description of the software to be designed in successive stages, starting from an abstract description of the application to be produced. Similarly, software testing is carried out in stages, culminating in a final test of the complete application.
This sheet describes the steps involved in implementing the V-cycle.
