4. Prepare initial updates of terminal forecasts

After a few months, a complete update of terminal costs is a useful forecasting tool. For this purpose, a complete update can be carried out four months after the first WPDs have been signed.

In order not to repeat the exercise from the beginning, the initial WPD and the associated CSR were used. Re-examined during the various "WP reviews" and "Progress & Cost Reviews", the WPDs are validated during a higher-level validation review called the "RTD Cycle acceptance review". These reviews constitute the program and business-level validation of the total update of the forecast at the end of the project.
