5. Reread references to ensure they match the selected style

It's during the final stage of formatting your bibliography that the advice given in Optimizing scientific document management with EndNote or Reference Manager [FIC 1277] comes in handy. Depending on how you have entered your references into your database, the final list may (or may not) need to be corrected.

In the figure "Example of a non-homogeneous reference list", the three newspapers have been entered differently into the database: the first uses the full name of the newspaper, while the next two are the official newspaper abbreviations....
