2. Apply the rules for using mind mapping software

Mind maps are structured hierarchically. To design them, you can follow the instructions below.

  • Place the subject of the card in the center.

  • From the center, add a branch for each of the main ideas related to the topic. Write keywords indicating the main ideas directly on the lines.

  • From the main branches, you can add additional lines (sub-branches) and so on. Use colors.

  • Add images and symbols.

They can be used in a variety of ways:

  • exchange information (meetings, brainstorming, strategies) ;

  • organize, reorganize and filter the ideas collected, as well as the hypertext links attached to the branches, by simply dragging and...
