2. Tweet your watch in real time

Twitter is the ultimate tool for the immediate dissemination of intelligence. It's informal, instantaneous and effortless, and an excellent vector for propagation and promotion. You can broadcast an idea, link to a website, use hashtags to qualify your tweet, and create a kind of community of interest.

The vast majority of websites and online services now offer the option of tweeting information with just one or two clicks: take the Scopus bibliographic database, for example, where you can "tweet" an article you've just read.

Twitter remains a limited tool, both in terms of content (maximum 140 characters per tweet) and the possibility of interacting with other users. What's more, your contacts may not yet be following your Twitter account.
