6.1 Don't ignore the formalities laid down in the French Intellectual Property Code.
In particular, don't overlook the need for agreements between employer and employee to be in writing. Failure to do so is punishable by nullity (article L. 611-7-3 of Code de la propriété intellectuelle ).
