4. How does the definition interview work?

The interview always takes place in three stages.

4.1 Understanding the context

The questioning will focus on facts, causes and goals, in the order recommended above.

Don't be a prisoner of it, you'll soon see that one question leads to another; just don't lose sight of the questions, especially the goals.

Ask the question "How?" last, to check whether any solutions have already been envisaged; but don't insist on this question, so as not to start the creativity too early.

In general, 15 to 30 minutes of questioning will give you an overview of the situation. Don't try to be exhaustive just yet - you can always launch further investigations if necessary.
