3. Questions to ask: the "compass rose

3.1 What questions?

The questions revolve around the initial request, which you can place in a central frame:

  • Upwards: to what end? This question takes the ludion back to the goals, the stakes, the finalities.

  • Down: how? This question brings the ludion back down to the means, the solutions.

  • To the left, horizontally: what? This question focuses on the facts, on the current situation, with the dissatisfactions or malfunctions that are at the root of the demand.

  • To the right, horizontally: why? This question focuses on the causes of any dissatisfaction or malfunction.
