1. File your EP patent application directly with the EPO
According to article 75 de la CBE , European patent applications can be filed at the EPO. The EPO has three receiving offices: Munich, The Hague and Berlin ( règle 35 de la CBE ), so that applications can be filed by direct delivery, by post, by any means of electronic communication or by fax ( règle 2 de la CBE ). Automatic mailboxes have been installed in Munich and Berlin, which can be used at any time.
In practice, electronic filing accounts for the vast majority of filings....
