Design; design

Discipline aimed at harmonizing the human environment, from the design of everyday objects to urban planning.

Développement expérimental; experimental development

Systematic work based on existing knowledge, obtained through research in order to gather the technical elements necessary to launch the manufacture of new materials, products or devices, to establish new processes, systems and services, or to considerably improve existing ones, i.e. a substantial improvement, which does not result from a simple use of the state of the art of existing techniques. The result is a prototype or pilot plant.
