6. Save and use your results in PubMed (My NCBI)

Registering (free of charge) with PubMed is very useful. You can register alerts and receive them electronically, store reference lists in "clipboards" for a few hours, or in "My Bibliography" to keep them and even share them with other users.

My NCBI can also be used to customize your searches (for example, by highlighting the words you've searched for in your favorite color), or to link to your supplier of articles in a company.

You can then keep track of all activities carried out on the site for a few hours... a handy feature when you're interrupted or have opened several windows.
