The quality of the summary or knowledge extraction depends largely on the prompt used.
Here are a few examples of prompts adapted to different needs.
Summary of main ideas: "Read this document carefully and write a 200-word summary, identifying the main ideas or arguments developed. Be sure to include the most important points concisely."
Identify and extract key facts: "Extract the most relevant data, facts and statistics presented in this text. Organize this information in a clear, prioritized list to facilitate rapid comprehension."
Paragraph synthesis: "For each paragraph or section of text, write a sentence synthesizing the main idea or message. This approach should make it possible to understand the sequence of ideas in the document as a whole."...
