Invention technique; technical invention

The process of creating a new, practical idea for an object or method intended for a given use.

Processus créatif; creative process

The process that brings something into existence that did not previously exist, whatever its nature or use.

First-person approach (or "experiential" approach)

A methodological approach within the cognitive sciences, and more specifically within the study of consciousness, which consists in gathering data on a subject's cognitive processes from what he himself perceives of them, i.e. from a study of his subjective (or "lived") experience.
