INTRODUCTION
Experimenting with your innovative solution in a real-life situation, for example in a city's public space, not only enables you to verify its suitability for use, but also to improve your perception of the market in which your solution is positioned. However, it's not always easy to define a process that will enable project leaders to effectively test their innovative solutions on an urban territory that represents a multi-stakeholder ecosystem.
In this fact sheet, you will first learn about the importance of carrying out a real-life experiment, and then you will understand the mechanism of in vivo in situ experimentation (i.e. in a real-life situation), set up by the City of Paris. Finally, you will be presented with a proposed protocol for experimentation on a public territory.
In other words, this fact sheet aims to answer the following questions:
Why experiment with an innovative solution in a real-life situation on a public site?
How to carry out an in vivo experiment in situ with the City of Paris?
What experimentation protocol do you need to put in place to effectively test and validate your innovative solution in a public area?
