1.1 Strategy

The application of value management to the (re)definition of a company's strategy, whether existing or to be created, is pertinent: the company is considered as the solution to be optimized. Its "functional specifications" become its strategy, drawn up for each stage of its life cycle in terms of the performance expected by all its stakeholders:

  • Current customers: what services should be provided for each? What value do they derive from the exchange between the performance of the products/services provided and the costs generated? How can we satisfy them better than our competitors?... Here we rediscover the notions of "value chain" and "full cost of ownership", which complement the strategic aspects of marketing and quality....
