Connected objects have sensors that transform the data collected into data that can be sent remotely to another connected object or smartphone.
Each object has a unique identifier (like a postal address) which enables it to be recognized in the network (just as your telephone is recognized by your car radio thanks to Bluetooth).

The implications of connected objects are numerous, and are already provoking controversy and debate. The most controversial issues are data security and privacy.
