2. Preparing your utility certificate application

Like the preparation of a patent application, the utility certificate application is preferably drafted by an industrial property attorney in the technical field of the invention, on the basis of a technical note and discussions with the inventor(s).

The drafter will then prepare a document which will constitute the utility certificate application, and which will include a detailed description of all the ways envisaged for achieving the invention (called "embodiments"), illustrative drawings and several claims defining the scope of the desired monopoly.
