2. Contextualize the prompt by linking it to your field of activity

To focus attention on your expectations, it's important to contextualize your request. This means clarifying the objective, framing the situation, and including specific details that facilitate a more relevant, targeted response. It's also important to specify the requirement as clearly as possible.

The generative AI can be assigned a role or professional identity. You can ask the AI to behave like an expert, an engineer, a monitoring specialist, etc. You can also tell the AI the professional identity of the requester.

Where appropriate, the prompt may include details of the audience to whom the answer is to be addressed: this enables the result to be adapted to the audience's level of knowledge and expectations.
