4. Interpret inventive principles and build solution concepts

Each inventive principle selected can potentially give rise to a solution concept for the user of the matrix. You then need to draw a parallel between what the generic expression of the principle evokes and your initial contradictory situation. This stage is often quite complex, because it requires a very broad (multidisciplinary) technical culture. What's more, it's directly dependent on your creative abilities. Nevertheless, most of the experiments carried out with the matrix successfully attest to its potential in situations where, without this exercise (with classic brainstorming), concepts would not have emerged.
