4. What acts can the patent owner prohibit?
The patent holder's rights are essentially "prohibition rights".
The French Intellectual Property Code defines the range of acts that cannot be carried out without the authorization of the patent owner ( article L. 613-3 du CPI ). The absence of authorization and, even more so, the violation of a patent owner's prohibition constitute acts of infringement ( article L. 615-1 du CPI ).
