 INTRODUCTION

When an invention is made by an employee, the law organizes a specific regime under which the right to the invention belongs, depending on the circumstances, to the employee or his employer. Nevertheless, it is possible that a dispute may arise between the two parties concerning the classification of the invention or the remuneration awarded to the employee. Whether you're an employer or an employee, it's essential to know how best to handle such a situation.

The aim of this fact sheet is to present the actions that can be taken, both upstream, to prevent such disputes, and downstream, to manage a conflict situation.
