Danger; hazard

Intrinsic property or capacity of a piece of equipment, a substance or a work method to cause damage to workers' health.

Risk; risk

Probability of occurrence of a health phenomenon in a given population over a given period of time.

Risk assessment

The process of comparing estimated risk with one or more decision criteria or decision aids.
