Overview

ABSTRACT

Since the advent of electricity, and thereafter, transmissions such as television or radio, the number of electromagnetic waves present in our daily lives has greatly increased. Consequently, the relevance of occupational risks relating to non-ionizing radiation (NIR) has increased. These rays have specific characteristics: static magnetic field, extremely low and low frequencies, radio frequencies, which are the major cause of such occupational hazards. The preventive methods considered undergo an interpretation of the measures and the initiation of the staff protection system once standard thresholds are exceeded.
