6. Pyrolysis processes

Waste pyrolysis, also referred to as thermolysis, consists of an endothermic thermal treatment (ΔH > 0), at moderate temperature, during which the organic fraction of the waste is decomposed, in the absence of air or in a reducing atmosphere (O 2 < 2%), to provide a gas phase and a solid phase : (C,H,O,N,H2O,inertes)(C,inertes)
