e-Health; e-Santé

A set of NICT-based tools and procedures enabling healthcare professionals to exchange medical and social data, to ensure continuity in prevention and care, in the home and/or in an institution.

Pyrocensor; pyrosensor

Thermal field sensor, measuring heat radiation from the area to be monitored.

Lingual stimulator; tongue display unit

Oral effector, attached to the palatal vault and comprising between 16 and 64 tongue stimulation electrodes, used as a sensory substitution tool.

Actimétrie; actimetry

A set of metrological techniques, based on electronics, information technology and telematics, used to quantify an individual's activity in his or her living environment.
