Powder manufacturing processes using FSCs offer considerable advantages: reduction in the number of unit operations in a process, purity of the products obtained, drastic reduction in any toxic waste, production of composite particles, improvement in the usable properties of powders, etc.

Although industrial applications are emerging in a number of sectors, it is clear that it is in the healthcare industry that these processes are likely to see significant development in the near future. They offer solutions to two major problems facing professionals.
