Although membranes have been used for many years in the two main production sectors – water purification and hemodialysis –, there are many other applications for this technology.
In this dossier, we describe a few examples of membrane applications in the fields of biology and pharmaceuticals, the automotive industry, the paper industry and, finally, petrochemicals.
