2. Fault tree analysis

2.1 Definition of the dreaded event

The FTA method is used to identify and analyze failures that could lead to a catastrophic outcome, in this case the loss of the drone. Within the framework of this simplified architecture, presented above, the feared event is defined as:

"Loss of drone during autonomous mission"

This event covers any scenario leading to the loss of the drone (uncontrolled descent, collision, etc.).
