1. What are the requirements of ISO 9001:2015?

If we summarize the text of the standard to the extreme, we can say:

  • concerning the scope of ISO 9001, which can be used against a company referring to this standard, that it focuses on the conformity of products and services supplied by the company, and on the satisfaction of customers and their requirements;

  • concerning the definition by a company of the scope of its quality management system, that any latitude is given provided that this scope reflects a real and homogeneous field of activities of the company leading to the delivery of clearly identified products and services;

  • concerning requirement exclusions, that they are not envisaged a priori and are not accepted, unless the excluded requirements cannot be applied by the company.
