1. Cosmetics regulations and quality control

In recent years, the dosage of active ingredients and regulated substances in cosmetic products has become a real challenge for the highly dynamic cosmetics sector.

This can be explained by the desire of formulators to innovate, always keen to ensure the stability of their active ingredients in their formulas, but also by increasingly stringent regulatory constraints worldwide.

As the activity claimed by a brand is most often associated with the presence of one or more active ingredients, it is important to be able to verify their presence and concentration.

In addition to these product-related issues, the number of regulated or banned substances is increasing all the time. Here again, identifying and quantifying these substances is vital to ensure consumer safety and fair trade.
