7.1 Separation in CZE mode

Proteins are made up of AA polypeptide chains and have a pI isoelectric point.

They can therefore be separated into CZE according to their electrophoretic mobility. For these macromolecules, several semi-empirical models have been proposed in the literature to predict their electrophoretic mobility on the basis of their charge and molecular mass
