6.1 Some examples

Spectrophotometry is used in many fields: chemistry, pharmaceuticals, the environment, agri-food, biology, etc., both in laboratories and on industrial sites. The possibilities offered by multivariable analysis, which allows the analysis of several components while limiting spectral or physicochemical interference, have opened up new applications, particularly for industrial analysis.
