8. Conclusion

The GPS concept translates into a set of standards that elaborate a language: the mechanic's language.

This language will, in the near future, be based on formalized and precise models involving definitions, operations, syntax and semantic rules within a framework of common writing for all partners. To this end, current and future standards will be drawn up according to the framework established by the GPS general matrix, the unifying element.

The different partners will have coherent tools.

This important work, which began a few years ago, will undoubtedly continue for a long time to come, as the task, or image, is considerable.

It will be necessary to learn and master these new tools, which suggests :
