2. 6-port network modeling

2.1 Basic principle

A 6-port network can be reduced to a 4-port network with special detectors (in this case, arbitrary channels 3 and 5 are used for detection). The fundamental equation in microwave metrology is : b3=A3a2+B3b2b5=A5a2+B5b2
