6. Information and training

LNE's mission also includes "to gather, exploit and disseminate information and documentation concerning developments in metrology".

To this end, it publishes a scientific and technical journal, La revue française de métrologie, designed to inform scientific and industrial circles about the achievements, programs and prospects of French metrology.

LNE also publishes sector monographs, organizes theme days in specific metrological fields and takes part in metrology-related exhibitions.

It works closely with the Collège français de métrologie and, as part of this, plays an active role in the international metrology congress held every two years.
