2. Two-level factorial design

2.1 When can this plan be used?

This design can be used when the experimenter has already determined the k suspected factors influencing the phenomenon under study, and their limits of variation, known as the low and high levels.

This plan is only possible when the tests can be carried out by combining all the factors at their two levels.
