2.1 General (milling technique and diagram)
As previously mentioned, it is conventional to represent milling by a diagram (figure 10 ) where B corresponds to a mill, C to a converter, Cl to a clacker, F to the passing flour, BR to a bran brush or bran finisher, RBIS to the bis remoulages (i.e. milling by-products) and finally RBCLS to the white remoulages (i.e. milling by-products). Other standard abbreviations used in the diagrams can be found in table 5 .
