3. Research and innovation

A number of research organizations have made ITS their main research theme. It is important to encourage them in this direction by helping them to publicize their work and skills, and to structure themselves. This is the aim of the ITS Scientific Interest Group (Groupement d'intérêt scientifique ITS), originally set up by the ITS Bretagne association , which currently has 11 members and aims to facilitate the participation of its members in national and international projects, by accurately listing the skills of its members, organizing exchange days and representing GIS entities at various events in the ITS field.
