5. Specificities of multimodal information

Before developing the possible governance scenarios, it is necessary to recall the structuring elements of travel information services, which are highly specific.

These services (figure 6 ) involve :

• technical chains with numerous links, requiring specific management of service quality. These chains were set up for network operation, and then used for passenger information;

• information services from a variety of sources:
