7. Mistakes to avoid
7.1 Do not dilute your effluent in order to obtain emissions that comply with those specified in your authorization order.
If you dilute your effluents, you will minimize the concentrations of your emissions and therefore their impact. The authorized limit values are set out in the general prescriptions applicable to ICPEs or in individual authorization decrees, and dilution must under no circumstances be used as a means of complying with them, in accordance with article 21 paragraph IV of the arrêté ministériel du 2 février 1998 modifié .
