6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Don't forget to take into account the time of year for your inventory

The inventory in your impact study should specify the dates and periods of investigation. Many species (plant and/or animal) can only be identified at certain times of the year. It is therefore essential to choose your period of investigation according to data availability, and to justify this choice. Some survey periods are more suitable (e.g.: for flora, from April to August; for reptiles, from April to June).
